Hello Kenneth!
Welcome to planDisney! I completely understand your concerns. We were scheduled to visit the
Disneyland Resort in June of 2020. I’m sure you can guess how that went! We are now rescheduled for this November, and I am wishing on a star that it is safe for us to travel then.
The reassuring thing about purchasing
Disneyland Theme Park Tickets is that while
they are fully non-refundable, in most cases, the value paid for wholly unused tickets can be used toward the purchase of tickets for a future visit. If the theme parks were to close again, you would not lose the value paid for those tickets, even if they were past the expiration date. With a
call to Disneyland Ticketing, you would be able to use the value of the tickets toward the purchase of new tickets at the same or higher value. Do keep in mind you might be required to pay the difference if the new tickets were at a higher price point.
I hope this is reassuring to you, Kenneth! So go ahead and purchase those tickets and make those plans! Don’t forget that in addition to theme park tickets, you’ll need to make a
Theme Park Reservation for the day you plan to visit. And if you haven’t already, you might consider making any desired dining reservations.
Wishing you a magical visit to the happiest place on earth!
