I'm planning a trip to Disneyland and we will be bringing our 16ft camper. We plan to stay at one of the Disneyland hotels. Is there a place for us to park our camper? Is one hotel better than another for parking our camper?

Greetings to you, Stephanie, and welcome to planDisney!

It's wonderful to see you here with your question and I'm so excited for you to be visiting the Disneyland Resort this summer! I'll explain why in a bit, but let's get to answering your question so that you can move forward with your plans.

I'm happy to report that all three official Disneyland Resort Hotels offer oversize parking spaces for boats and campers, so you should have no issue bringing your camper with you. At check-in, just let the Cast Members know that you'll be requiring an oversize parking space and they'll be happy to direct you where to go. And just so that you are aware, there is a slight upcharge for oversize parking. I then spoke to a very friendly Cast Member working at the Hotels and inquired about the benefits of one hotel vs. the other in terms of oversize parking. They stated that there really isn't a difference among them. However, he did say that the oversize parking area at the Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel was a little bit closer. But I took that as good news because you can make your hotel decision based purely on personal preference! My favorite has always been the classic Disneyland Hotel

Okay, Stephanie, would you like to know why I'm so excited for your trip? You'll be arriving just before Disneyland Park celebrates the 69th Anniversary of its opening on July 17, 2024!! It might be business as usual or there might be special merchandise or events throughout the day. You never know! I would recommend following the Disney Parks Blog to see if any announcements are made. Either way, you'll be there on a momentous day!

Stephanie, I hope that this was helpful for you and I encourage you to bring more questions to us if you need anything further. We'd love to continue being involved in your trip and you're always welcome at planDisney! Until next time!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
