I'm planning a trip to Disney World in October with 2 adults and 2 children (an almost 3 year old and a 22 month old). What would the best resort be for toddlers? Not sure how much there is to do for that age in the parks so pools are important.

Hello, Wendy! A good pool and plenty of room to run and play are two key components to enjoying a splashtastic afternoon at your Disney Resort hotel. But did you know that some hotels even offer other on-site activities and theming that make this time away from the theme parks even more exciting?

    On-site Activities
From outdoor movies to swimming pools, playgrounds, white-sand beaches, Character Dining, and beyond... Your Disney Resort hotel can offer plenty of entertainment options for the entire family. The Deluxe Resorts tend to offer the most variety, but there are some fabulous options in the other categories, as well. Some of my favorite options with the best pools and on-site activities are:
    • Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
    • Disney's Art of Animation Resort
    • Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
    • Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts
    Hotel Theme
The Value Resort hotels offer bold themes with larger-than-life characters or icons, which makes them perfect for young explorers. My favorite in the Value Resort category is Disney's Art of Animation Resort because it has amazing pools (the Big Blue Pool even has underwater speakers!) and dedicated buses for convenient transportation.

Tip: You can use this Disney Resort hotel comparison tool to compare up to four hotels at a time.

No matter which Walt Disney World Resort hotel that you choose, I am sure that you and your family will have a magical time! If you have any additional questions before your trip, please do not hesitate to contact me here at the Moms Panel. Happy planning, Wendy!
