I’m planning a trip in December 2023. The dates for the Very Merry Christmas Party are not out yet. Can you tell me which nights during the week the party usually occurs? I want to be sure my days cover at least one of the event nights. Thank you.

Welcome to planDisney, Patti; if you listen closely, you can faintly hear sleigh bells in the distance! The holidays are a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, and you're not alone in planning for some holly jolliness well in advance. So pour yourself a cup of hot chocolate, snuggle up in a festive throw, and let's talk about holiday happenings!

Last year, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dates were announced on the Disney Parks Blog around June, so I'd start watching for news in the coming months. Of course, dates and days of the week are always subject to change, but a glance at previous years shows that these special ticketed holiday parties are often on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. In 2022, the last party was held on December 22.

One of my favorite attractions undergoes a tinsel transformation during the holidays, so I hope you check out the Jingle Cruise in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom Park. If you think the regular Jungle Cruise is punny, you're in for a holiday hoot with this hysterical Christmas overlay. And Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is another must-do for my family. Patti, your question has made me long for the holidays, and it's barely spring break!

Tickets for the Christmas party could go on sale in late June or early July, so be ready to get those ho-ho-holiday tickets! I'm sending you Pixie Dust and lots of joyful cheer so that you'll secure a party on your desired dates.

Please stop by planDisney anytime, Patti. We'll keep a stocking hanging for you!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
