I'm planning a trip for Dec 17-21. Do I need to worry about the parks reaching capacity on these days. I was hoping to park hop at least a few times.

    Hi !

What a great time to visit Walt Disney World! The holiday decorations really make vacations at this time of year super special!

In general the December weeks leading up to Christmas are not overly crowded. Typically park attendance rises just before Christmas and hits peaks during the week between Christmas and New Years. Hopefully you'll miss those busiest days, and have a great time at the parks!

Also, if you're staying at a Disney resort, its good to note that even during times when parks reach capacity the parks are closed to new guests in stages. Access for Disney resort guests will usually be the last group to be closed.

I hope this helps! Enjoy your trip!
