I'm planning a trip for my birthday this year (which happens to be 2 days after Magic Kingdom's birthday) and I really want to do a split stay, but I keep getting told by others that I should stick to 1 resort. What should I do?

    Hiya, Jessica!

There are so many incredible resort hotels to choose from when you visit Walt Disney World that it can be hard to pick just one that you want to visit! There are also rooms in every budget, so you might want to stay at a Value resort for some of your stay, but then splurge on a Deluxe resort for a night or two.

I am definitely team split stay, but there are certain conditions where I think sticking to one resort is the better option. If I have small children with me, I stay put. Kids come with a lot of stuff, and it can be a bit of a hassle to get settled somewhere, only to have to move them in a few days. Also, when I plan for shorter trips, I usually stick with only one resort. While bell services will happily move your luggage from one resort to another for you, if I'm only staying a couple of nights, I don't want to take the time to pack and unpack multiple times.

Here's my bottom line for you - it's your birthday, Jessica! How often do you get to celebrate with a trip to Walt Disney World? If it will sprinkle some extra pixie dust on your celebration to stay at multiple resorts, then I'm all in on a split stay!

I hope you have the most amazing time planning this trip, Jessica! Enjoy some of the incredible new additions for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration!
