Hi im planning to travel on june with my 1 year old and 4 year old girls, i need to know which therme hotel you recomed for us? We stayed in Animal Kingdom Lodge last vacation and we love it but we don't want to stay in the same hotel.

Hello, Gleisbyth! I know how difficult it is to narrow down all of the amazing Disney Resort hotel options at Walt Disney World. It's almost impossible to choose a favorite! Where you choose to stay really depends upon a number of things, like transportation options, proximity to Disney Theme Parks, and theme, but I will try to offer a few of my favorites to help with your search.

My daughter really likes Disney's Contemporary Resort. The resort offers many amenities that make it perfect for the preschool age group. The pool area is very family-friendly, and even has a water sprayground for young children to enjoy. Chef Mickey's is located near the monorail, and is a fantastic Character Dining experience.

Disney's Contemporary Resort is also a short monorail ride from Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot, which makes it very convenient for retreating back to your room for a little peace and relaxation.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are also located along the monorail, and offer activities and play areas for the preschool age group, too. If you want to stay in another Deluxe Resort, these are three really wonderful options.

The Value Resort category generally offers very bold theming, which is just perfect for young children. My personal favorite in this category is Disney's Art of Animation Resort. It offers rooms themed like favorite Disney•Pixar movies, like The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Cars, and Finding Nemo. This resort also has a very large food court and amazing pools, making it another great option for families with young children.

I strongly recommend using the hotel comparison tool to help make your decision. You will be able to compare up to four Disney Resort hotels at a time. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel, Gleisbyth. Happy planning!
