I'm planning on taking my 2 year old DD to MK on my birthday (oct. 22). We are not planning on going to the Halloween Party but would like to see the fireworks if they still do them. Where would be a good vantage spot? ANy resorts that overlook them? thx

    Hi Sarah,

How fantastic that you're getting to spend your Birthday in Walt Disney World, if you haven't done so already click HERE to register your special day!

The regular fireworks show Wishes is not shown on party nights as the special HalloWishes fireworks are scheduled for 9.30pm instead. As you don't have tickets you won't be able to view this in the park but a great view can be had from the beach at the Polynesian Resort. You can reach this hotel by catching the resort monorail from the front of the Magic Kingdom. You can also see the fireworks from the Contemporary Resort and the Grand Floridian but I personally prefer the Polynesian as it offers a head-on view, they even pipe the music in making it even more magical. There is also a bar nearby so you can grab a cocktail to drink whilst you watch if you desire!

    Have a wonderful trip,

    Jo
