Hi Anita!
Welcome to planDisney! I see you have a wonderful day planned exploring the wild side of Disney at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and enjoying all of the wonderful shopping, dining, and entertainment available at
Disney Springs. Since your visit to Walt Disney World Resort begins tomorrow (yay!!), let's waste no time getting you your answer!
Unfortunately,
bus transportation is not directly available between the theme parks and Disney Springs. To use Disney's complimentary resort transportation, you would first need to take a bus from Animal Kingdom to any hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection and then hop on a bus (or boat if available) to Disney Springs. Anita, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is the closest hotel to Animal Kingdom and might be your quickest option. However, my boys really enjoy arriving at Disney Springs by water, so I would suggest taking a bus to Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, or Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and then take the
Sassagoula River Cruise if time allows. Regardless of which option you choose, traveling to Disney Springs will involve an extra stop, so you'll want to make sure you leave plenty of time for travel.
If you're looking for a more direct option, you could always consider a rideshare service. While this does come with a cost, it will be the most direct and time-efficient option. If you are considering a rideshare, you may also want to check out the
Minnie Van Service. Available exclusively through Lyft, these are adorable private rides available to reserve (for a fee) to transport you around Walt Disney World Resort. If you're traveling with any little ones, you'll also be happy to know that a standard Minnie Van offers two complimentary car seats!
While you're visiting Disney Springs, I also have to recommend grabbing a sweet treat at one of my favorite ice cream stops,
Salt & Straw! I love their unique flavors, especially the Honey Lavender. It's the perfect way to end an evening of shopping and dining!
Anita, I hope this information has been helpful, and you enjoy a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
Cheers,
Kristi
