Hey there, Tamara! I’m so glad you found us here at planDisney to ask your Walt Disney World ticket questions.
What an amazing Christmas surprise! I would love to have a WDW vacation to open up under my Christmas tree.
I have some good news and some bad news. Let’s start with the bad to get it over with…you can’t get physical tickets. Now, the good news…I have some ideas for you! I am very crafty, so if I get carried away, please forgive me.
About 10 years ago when my children were still small, we gifted them with a Disney Cruise Line vacation for Christmas. I made a “we’re going on a Disney Cruise” sign and attached it to helium balloons. I then wrapped the balloons inside a large box with a ribbon that simply needed to be untied so that the balloons would float out of the box and reveal the sign. While it didn’t work perfectly, the idea was there, and the children were out of their minds excited.
You could plan a scavenger hunt, having the first clue wrapped under the Christmas tree with a series of fun clues leading to pieces of a puzzle around the house. Then, the puzzle could be assembled and reveal the Walt Disney World surprise!
You could also print out your own “tickets’ and wrap them up. Maybe wrap them with something a little heavier like things to take on the trip? Or matching family t-shirts? (I told you I’m crafty).
I hope this helps with planning your holiday surprise. I’m sure your April trip to
The Most Magical Place on Earth will be practically perfect in every way.
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
