I’m planning on staying at the fort wilderness cabins and am renting a golf cart. Do the golf cart parking lots by bus transportation and boat transportation to the parks ever get full if we go to the parks later in the day?

Hi Abbey and welcome to planDisney! Your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is just a few days away! Hooray! Thanks for sending us your planning question.

The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort gives you the best of both worlds when it comes to a vacation that lets you appreciate the outdoors and/or spend lots of time at the theme parks.

I am happy to report that parking your golf cart near the front of the park to use the Disney Bus transportation is a breeze. There's lots of space to park and your cart will be easy to find.

When it comes to parking at the marina, it can get a bit tricky. The lot right next to the beach can be full midday. I have found that if you wait a bit for guests to come off the ferry, you might be able to grab a spot. Parking spots near the marina are easier to come by in the morning and later in the evening.

Speaking of the marina, watching the Electrical Water Pageant is always a treat for my family at the end of the day. You can see the twinkling lights from the Fort Wilderness dock every night around 9 p.m.

Abbey, I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to put the finishing touches on your trip. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more questions. It's always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next vacation!
