I’m planning a short trip of just two days and one night with the dining plan as a surprise for my mom. My question is does the dining plan only last for one day or will it hold value for the second day? I know I will only have 1 day of credits

Hi, Lauren! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. This sounds like a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious surprise! Adding a Disney Dining Plan to your Disney Resort Hotel Package will make planning and paying for all of the magic you will experience totally easy. I love the convenience the Disney Dining Plans gives my family. When we are hungry, we just head to our favorite dining locations and everything is taken care of for us. Knowing that I have already prepaid for the plan makes it so easy to say "OK" to any menu item my hungry family wants to try.

You are correct, Lauren, in that you will have one days' worth of meal entitlements during your visit with your mom. The meal entitlements are assigned based on the number of nights guests are staying in their Walt Disney World Resort hotel. The meal entitlements will become active the morning you check in at your resort and will remain active until midnight the evening you check out. So, you will essentially have two days to use them all. I am not sure which plan you have gone with, but be sure to make Advance Dining Reservations for any Table Service dining locations you would like to experience. Don't forget about those snack credits before you check out! In my experience, we usually have some left, so I stop by our resort's gift shop to grab some Mickey's crisped rice treats with those leftover snack entitlements.

Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures with your mom!
