Hi! I'm planning a return trip in Sept 09 with my 5 yo son. Any suggestions for table service dining places? I'd like to try one in a resort but not sure which one he might find fun and we'll enjoy too. We did Chef Mickey and MK Castle last time. Thanks!

Hi, Laura!  A long time favorite of all of my daughters is the dinner at 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort.  In addition to a really terrific meal that is all you are to eat, they do some fun things for the kids, like coconut races and hula hoop contests.  Even when the kids don't participate, they have a ukelele player that is quite entertaining, and if you are lucky enough to be there during Wishes, you can enjoy the fireworks from some of the tables in the restaurant, and you can enjoy the music from all of the tables!

Another favorite that is great fun for the kids is Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge.  The antics of the waitstaff here will keep your five year old entertained throughout his meal!

If you want to enjoy a wonderful and different meal, I highly recommend Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The meal itself has no entertainment other than the incredible flavors of Africa, but before and after your meal, you can head outside to see the animals on the savannah or enjoy the African story tellers.

    Have a terrific vacation!
