    I'm planning on renting a stroller for the time we are at WDW. I've heard that tying a bandana will help so our stroller will not be taken by mistake. Are there any other crafty examples? Do strollers get taken that often?

    I have been to WDW dozens of times and spoken to perhaps thousands of WDW guests and have never actually heard of a stroller being stolen. It may happen, but it is an extremely rare occurrence. The bandana thing is more to help you identify your own stroller since there are so many at WDW that look alike. A big red bow, scarf, balloon (or anything else) tied to the stroller will just help you identify it more quickly in a sea of similar looking strollers.

    While stroller theft is highly uncommon at WDW, it is very likely that your stroller will be moved at some point. There are several attractions at the parks with large stroller parking areas. The cast member attendants at these areas do commonly rearrange the strollers to make them fit in the space better. This is where the bandana trick will come in handy. If your stroller is not exactly where you left it, you can more easily scan the area if you're looking for something unique. And if you don't find your stroller right away, you can always ask the cast members there to help you.

    I did read about a rather strange stroller-theft-prevention trick. Apparently one family was so eager to deter theft that they routinely tied baggies full of dirty diapers to their stroller. I'm not sure I would resort to that, but I'm sure their technique worked!
