Hi there, Marissa, welcome to planDisney!
How exciting that you’re preparing for the
Magic Key pass sales next week! I’m happy to share more about purchasing a year of magic at the
Disneyland Resort.
As a Magic Key pass holder myself, I can tell you that, yes you can purchase different Magic Key pass tiers. Just know that if you’d like to link her pass to her
MyDisney account, you’ll need her email, first and last name, and mailing address so it links to her account. When it comes to payment, be advised that if you do not pay in full and plan to take advantage of monthly payments if you’re an eligible California resident, if you purchase her pass in one transaction the contract will be in your name, even if you link the pass to her account. This means monthly payments are tied to you only, and they cannot be changed or split between you for recurring payments.
I highly recommend reviewing the
Magic Key Buying Guide available so you’re prepared once the sales queue opens. You’ll want to be logged in on November 6 and ready to enter the queue at 8:45 am PT and sales will begin no sooner than 9 am PT. Lower-tier passes do tend to sell out and go faster than you can say Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! So stay ready. You’ll be set to enjoy the magic once you secure your pass. Review the
Magic Key pass calendar to ensure your travel dates for the next year are not blocked out, otherwise, you’ll need to still purchase general admission tickets on those dates.
I sure hope that helps, Marissa. You’re almost there, but if you have any other questions before your visit -
we’re here to help!
Magic awaits!
Camille
