Why hello there Wade, I'd like to welcome you to planDisney!

I love a great Disney proposal story and as a connoisseur of costumes and dressing up at Disney Destinations around the world, I'm thrilled at the idea of you proposing in Princely fashion. My husband and I actually had the idea of proposing to each other so that we each could experience that magical moment ourselves (which quickly spiralled into us having a Disney Wedding), so after doing quite a bit of my own personal research into getting engaged at Walt Disney World Resort I'm happy to lend you some insight as you prepare to put a ring on it:

At the current time if you reach out to Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons regarding an engagement in Florida, they'll provide you with a few options or suggestions for Enchanting Extras that you can book on your own - since they don't presently coordinate or plan proposals for couples nor offer any packages. (That said, when I spoke to one of the Sales Consultants recently she let me know that if you have a budget in the range of tens of thousands equivalent to the minimum expenditure for a wedding event then this could be something they may discuss with you.)

The thing about wanting to be dressed up as a Prince is to keep in mind the policy for appropriate attire if you're planning on doing this in one of theme parks, which can be enforced if the Cast Members feel as though you're wearing a costume. This however changes if you're attending an event like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party where fellow Disney adults can freely dress in costumes, and I've observed that guests dressing up for Dapper Day enjoying themselves and taking photos at the Disney Resort Hotels without issue. (Since Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is an offering reserved for younger guests looking to have a royal transformation, the closest thing that you can experience as an adult might be a Harmony Barber Shop trim - which may or may not be the makeover you're looking for!)

I recently helped another couple who had asked about the cost for Cinderella's Glass Coach which is always subject to change or even increase without prior notice; the Cast Members confirmed that this is however currently exclusive to Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings and select media/promotional appearances - which is unfortunately not available for guests to book privately on their own. A picturesque alternative they suggest is a Horse Drawn Excursion - Carriage Ride at a location like Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside which could definitely make for a gorgeous setting outside the theme parks where you can pop the question!

I personally also recommend booking a Capture Your Moment session in Magic Kingdom Park as an option where you can have that memory forever captured, but come back again to planDisney any time Wade for any more tips or advice as you make your proposal plans!
