I'm planning to propose to my boyfriend this fall at Disney World. Is it possible to show a 2-minutes film I created for him in an room? Or am I allowed to bring a little projector to show him on a wall, not in the most crowded area ? Thank you

Bonjour, Stessy! I'm glad you've decided to start your own Happily Ever After at Walt Disney World. I'm here to help!

I admire your joie de vivre, and it's fabulous that you created a film for your boyfriend; I wish I were that creative! While you would probably be able to get your projector through theme park security, it sounds like you want your proposal to be intimate, and the parks don't have secluded rooms or areas that would be appropriate.

The Walt Disney World Resort hotels would be a more viable option. If you plan to be a guest at one, you are welcome to show your video from the privacy of your room. In fact, many of the Resort properties have interactive televisions that allow for casting and streaming; all you have to do is click on "Connect My Device" on the television's welcome screen. Otherwise, you can always stop at the front desk at any of the Resort hotels and ask if they have a meeting room or a quiet spot in the lobby that you can use for a few minutes. I can't guarantee this will work, but Cast Members like to help make magic happen when they can. My absolute favorite is Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, which is très romantique!

If you want to reserve something in advance, contact the Disney Fairytale Wedding team. You can fill out a form on their website, and a Cast Member will email you back with information, but allow at least 7-10 business days for a response. At the bottom, you'll see a box with a question that says, "Anything else we can help you with?" I'd add as many details as possible here so the team can assist you better. Often, a guest must spend a baseline dollar amount to secure the space for their event.

Here are some other fun engagement ideas:
*Book a meal (60 days in advance) at Cinderella's Royal Table. Then, order a celebratory bottle of champagne and pop the question as your server pops the cork.
*Stop by Guest Relations in the theme parks and get a free "Happily Ever After" celebration button.
*Schedule a Capture Your Moment Photo Session with your loved one by calling 00 800 2006 0809 to commemorate your special day.
*Nothing is more romantic than watching the fireworks over Cinderella Castle! Book a private Fireworks Cruise by contacting 00 800 2006 0809.

The planDisney Panel sends our love and best wishes, Stessy!
