Hi Christy!
Welcome to planDisney!
First and foremost, it’s good to note that park hours and showtimes are always subject to change. So, I’d check the
Hours & Events Calendar closer to your park day for the most up-to-date park hours.
In addition to that, I’ve noticed that
Starlight parade times are often not listed until closer to the date. The parade currently runs 1-2 times per night. When it’s shown once per night, it usually happens before the
Happily Ever After fireworks. And when it’s shown twice, it makes its way through
Magic Kingdom before and after the fireworks.
I recommend planning out your park day with an idea of how you’d like to end the night, but be aware that you may not be able to solidify your plans for that part of your park day until a week or two before your trip.
The other important information you’ll find in the Hours & Events Calendar is any attractions that will be closed for refurbishment during your trip. So, that can help you plan out your day, as well!
Currently,
Big Thunder Mountain and
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin are set to reopen in Spring 2026. While no specific reopening dates have been announced yet, I’d keep an eye on that Hours & Events Calendar, as well as the
Disney Parks Blog, for any information leading up to your trip.
I hope you have an incredible time! If you have any other questions, please let us know. We’re always happy to help!
