Hello, Kelsey!
Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your great transportation question! Traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with a young child is always a fun adventure, but it does help to familiarize yourself with the many transportation options ahead of time. I'm happy to help you make sense of the complimentary resort transportation before your vacation.
The Walt Disney World Monorail System offers several routes:
-- The Express Monorail takes guests from the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) to Magic Kingdom Park and back.
-- The Resort Monorail has several stops, including the three Disney Resort hotels on the monorail line, the Transportation and Ticket Center, and Magic Kingdom Park.
-- The Epcot Monorail takes guests from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Epcot.
*If you plan to travel between Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot and choose to take the monorail, I'd suggest taking the Express Monorail from Magic Kingdom to the Transportation and Ticket Center and then switching to the Epcot Monorail.
You may also travel to Magic Kingdom Park, the Transportation and Ticket Center, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and the Downtown Disney Area using ferry boats or water launch from select Disney Resort hotels. To see a full list, please visit the
Complimentary Resort Transportation section on the Walt Disney World website.
I hope you have a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Kelsey!
