Hi Ana Beatriz,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad that you stopped by with your great question, and I'd be happy to share my personal experience taking two teenagers to "The Most Magical Place on Earth."
To me, the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort lies in the chance to escape the hectic pace of daily life and enjoy time with my loved ones. At
Magic Kingdom Park, we can ride thrill rides together, discover
new and tasty foods, enjoy all of the classic Disney
attractions, interact with characters, hunt for hidden Mickeys (shapes that look like Mickey Mouse's head that Imagineers have hidden all over the Resort), take on a little friendly competition on attractions like
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and end the day with an incredible fireworks show. A visit to Magic Kingdom Park is truly a feast for the senses, and it's someplace where no one ever has to grow up and everyone can be a kid again. With a 16-year-old son and 14-year-old daughter myself, I can tell you that they love our Disney vacations just as much as my younger kiddos do. Hearing that your son still enjoys imagining with cars, creating with LEGOs, and spending time with his family, I think that he will
really love it! When you arrive, you'll be pleased to find Mouseketeers of ALL ages enjoying the magic and fun.
While you're at the Walt Disney World Resort, I'd suggest taking your LEGO fan to the LEGO store at
Disney Springs. He would LOVE seeing some of the incredible displays and walking around a store with endless creative possibilities!
If we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip, Ana Beatriz, please feel free to come see us again. I hope that you and your son have a truly magical vacation together!
Missy
