I'm planning my honeymoon for June 2011 and WDW is def the spot! What are some great places to stay for newly weds and fun things to do?

Hi, Sarah!  I spent my honeymoon at Walt Disney World, and will be spending my 20th wedding anniversary there in March!

There is something for everyone's budget that is fun and romantic, but since you haven't shared your budget, I'm going to give you suggestions that span the range of things available to you.

For the ultimate in romance, I love the Polynesian Resort.  It's tropical feel makes you feel like you are visiting an island paradise, but with all the excitement of Walt Disney World.  In addition to the convenient location as a monorail resort, you can enjoy a cuddle on the beach while you enjoy the Electric Water Parade and the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom.

My favorite moderate resort is Port Orleans French Quarter.  The New Orleans feel just oozes romance, and you can reign in the feeling with a horse drawn carriage ride through the resort in the evening.  Gaze into each other's eyes over beignets and coffee before heading out to the theme park for the day.

In addition to the theme parks, which I always think are more romantic when you steal a kiss as you snuggle together on some of the attractions, you have so many fabulous restaurants!  Enjoy the fireworks from your table at the California Grill, or hold hands across the table at Sanaa as you watch the animals on the savannah and share some of their sampling platters.

Enjoy a hot air balloon ride as you board Characters In Flight at Downtown Disney to enjoy the view over the whole World, or maybe plan a Segway Tour at Fort Wilderness.  There are also tandem bikes at Saratoga Springs and water sports to enjoy!

I wish you a long and happy marriage and a magical honeymoon!
