Heather from TN Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I’m planning a “grown up” trip with my sisters in May. We usually do some fun experiences like dessert parties or tours when we travel together. What are some fun things we might add this year?

Hi there, Heather! Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and asking another excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Vacationing with the whole family is so much fun, it can be easy to forget how enjoyable “grown-up” trips can be! However, I highly recommend taking the time to plan an adults-only vacation every so often. This gives you the chance to experience attractions and offerings through a different lens in addition to creating memories with older family members and friends!

If you’re looking for fun “add-ons” for your upcoming vacation, I would suggest looking through the Enchanting Extras Collection! This is an assortment of offerings that can range from seasonal events all the way to Private VIP Tours. With the wide array of experiences available, there really is something that everyone can enjoy available!

In the initial stages of reopening at Walt Disney World Resort, there are some experiences that are temporarily unavailable. Personally, I’ve found this to be the perfect excuse to try out other offerings I may not have considered otherwise! If you typically enjoy the behind-the-scenes tours, I would look into other tours that are available such as the horseback riding tours or the Wilderness Back Trail Adventure at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. If you would prefer a more leisurely experience, you could also check into the current spa experiences available at Mandara Spa or rent a poolside Cabana at your Disney Resort hotel for the day.

There are also some fun happenings at The Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival! This seasonal celebration offers different exhibits, live entertainment, and outdoor kitchens so you can take in the beauty and tastes of springtime!

I hope this information has given you a few ideas for your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions for you!
