Hello, I'm planning for go to a trip in septiember. It's for my sons 4th birthday he's going to celebrate there. I don't know what to even start at. It's so hard to plan it. Help?

    Hi, Rhina!
Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope I can offer you a little insight that may help ease your overwhelming feelings.

When planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, you can quickly discover an incredible number of opportunities for fun experiences. As you start digging into the details, it can feel overwhelming. For me, I start planning my visit based on what parks I want to visit each day I'm on vacation. Often, we visit during my daughter's birthday. We rarely use park hoppers during our visits, so I keep it simple by deciding on spending time in one park a day.

Once I pick the parks, I decide on our dining. If we have a Disney Dining Plan, I usually reserve at least a late lunch or early dinner inside our park of the day. Leaving the park for a meal can take time away from our fun.

Once I have all of my dining plans, I start research on events, parades and character meetings to make our park day even more special. I may not sign up for many of the extras, but it's great to know what kind of dessert parties or tours I might like to visit. Since your birthday boy is turning four, you may be interested in Disney Park's guide for planning a trip with preschoolers. You may also be interested in this collection of celebration options while you visit Disney World!

I hope this helps you feel a little less overwhelmed and more excited about your unforgettable birthday celebration with your little guy. Please let me know if I can help you with any additional questions you may have before your arrive!
