Hi! I’m planning to go on October but I’ll be 5 months pregnant, are there any tips you can give me? Do you recommend going pregnant?? Thanks!

    Hi Ethel!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I made quite a few visits to The Happiest Place on Earth while pregnant and even ran a runDisney event at Disneyland Resort at 5 months!

I'm delighted to let you know that there is still plenty for you to enjoy with your own little mouseketeer on board! You'll find that some of the more intense rides, do have expectant mother advisories, but many of the most nostalgic and popular rides will be practically perfect for you. If you visit the Attractions page for Disneyland Resort you can filter Accessibility & Advisories then scroll down to Physical Considerations and check off Expectant Mothers Advisory, this will show you what attractions aren't recommended. You can filter to see this broken down between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park as well. On the go, you'll also have all this information at hand in the Disneyland Mobile App.

My one major tip to you would be bringing multiple pair of very comfortable shoes. For some reason, being pregnant in the parks didn't feel much different other than my feet were quicker to feel sore. Even in my most comfortable shoes, I would feel discomfort after a long day, but just a quick change would be a huge sense of relief!

As anything when expecting, please check with your doctor prior to traveling, but I'm sure you'll still have a magical time! Please come back and see us real soon.
