Hi, Jorge! The holidays just hold a sort of special magic at Walt Disney World, and I never miss it!
Walt Disney World Holidays and Events begin in November, with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This specially ticketed event, on select evenings throughout November and December, has holiday themed shows, a parade, and other holiday surprises.
A must do for us is the beautiful
Candlelight Processional at Epcot. Accompanied by a choir and talented musicians, a celebrity narrator tells the story of the Nativity. It gives me the Christmas spirit every year. Dinner packages can be purchased for this event, and my family loves the
Biergarten Restaurant in Epcot's Germany pavilion for the live oompah band and festive atmosphere.
All of the resorts will be decorated throughout the season, so choosing one will depend on your family's preferences.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is one of our favorites for the life-sized gingerbread house in the lobby. I also really love the colorful Mardi Gras themed holiday decor at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort.
If you're looking for a traditional holiday feast,
Liberty Tree Tavern at the Magic Kingdom is it. A family style, all you can eat, traditional American fare meal makes the holiday season feel much more festive.
Have a wonderful visit, Jorge!
