I'm planning our first WDW vacation, it's been my number one goal since I first saw Sleeping Beauty. I finally have a little saved up for this trip and a lot of questions too. When we first get there where do we go?, can we use our own car? Ect.

    Hi, Maria!
Your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort is SO exciting. It is the happiest place in the world, and I'm thrilled you're working on planning a special vacation. Plus, I'm so glad I get the chance to help a fellow Missourian!

If you plan to drive to Disney World, you'll have the opportunity to drive under the famous entrance which declares how the resort is "Where Dreams Come True." I get nostalgic thinking about the first time my family drove under the sign and how both of my kids were SO excited. (I even have video of that moment.)

If you plan to stay in a resort, you'll want to drive straight there to check in and depending on the time of the day, drop your things off into your room. You will have a chance to play around at your resort, or use the Walt Disney World Transportation to visit one of the parks. I've always found it easier to park at my resort and leave the rest of the driving to the Disney professionals.

Keep those questions coming! I'd love to help you plan all the details you need before you arrive!
