I'm planning our first trip to WDW for spring 2010 for 2a, 3kids ages 11yr, 2yrs, and 9m. Which resort would give us the most room, allowing for naps and early bed as needed? Value vs Moderate?

Hi, Maureen!  My first suggestion would be to the All Star Music Family Suites.  The rooms are divided so that you have a separate master bedroom area, plus a living room area with several fold out bed options.  This allows you to head to your room at nap time, put the baby in the bedroom, and the rest of the family can relax in the living room, grabbing a cold drink from your mini-fridge, or making some quick snacks in the microwave.  You also get two full bathrooms, so you won't have to worry about potty emergencies.  At night you can fold out the sofa, the chair, or the ottoman to accommodate the older children, and put the baby in a portable crib in the master bedroom.  That allows the two older kids to enjoy a little game time without disturbing the sleeping baby.  Or, if all three kids are sleeping, put the portable crib in the living room with the other children, and mom and dad can relax in their own room until they are tired enough to go to sleep.

After the suites, most of the other Value rooms are very similar in size - about the size of a standard hotel room.  The rooms at the Pop Century resort are a wee bit larger, but you aren't gaining a lot of room over the All Stars.

You move up a little in size at the moderate resorts, and even though the youngest children don't count towards your maximum occupancy, you might want to request a room with a trundle bed.  Your two year old might be perfectly comfortable in the bottom part of the trundle, allowing your 11 year old a full bed.  You can request a portable crib for the baby.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
