I'm planning our first trip to WDW and would like to know if water park fun option allows visits the water parks on 'down days' or if have to be done on the same day as a park visit. We like to break up our park visits with other activities like pool days.

    Hello Lesley,

One of the things I love about a Walt Disney World vacation is the option to customize the entire trip to your needs and wants. Whether you are traveling with your family, having an all girls trip, traveling solo, on a budget or the skies the limit Guests are able to make their Walt Disney World vacation fit their own unique needs.

One of the many ways this is possible is through the variety of ticket options. Guests can pick the amount of days they see fit, choose to add on the Park Hopper options (enjoy same-day access to all 4 of our theme parks–Magic Kingdom park, Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom park and Disney's Hollywood Studios), enjoy special event tickets (Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party), upgrade to an Annual Pass and/or in your case include the Water Park Fun & More Option.

The Water Park Fun & More option, "offers a certain number of visits to Walt Disney World destinations based on the length of your ticket," to the following locations:

    Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park
    Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
    DisneyQuest Interactive Indoor Theme Park
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
    Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course
Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course
Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course

If your Magic Your Way Ticket or Park Hopper ticket is for 4 days, you will have 4 visits to use at any of the above locations, if your ticket is for 6 days you will have 6 visits. Tickets and any options purchased must be used within 14 days of first use. Using one of your visits on a non-theme park day is perfectly fine and in my opinion a magical idea. It sounds like you have the perfect Walt Disney World family vacation trip planned, enjoy and may it be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
