I'm planning my first trip to Disney with my 10 yr. old son and my 8 Yr. old daughter. There seems to be lots of character dining experiences for little princesses but are there any character dining experiences that my son might be crazy about?

    Greetings Stacey!

How exciting to be planning your first Walt Disney World vacation!  Character Dining is such a fun and memorable way to meet the Disney Characters while enjoying a delicious meal. As a mom of four children including 9-year-old twin boys, I've always found there to be fun Character Dining experiences that both my daughter and three sons can enjoy.

Chef Mickey's, located at Disney's Contemporary Resort, has a festive atmosphere and features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. This all-you-care-to-eat dining location has always been a family favorite. My boys also love 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, which traditionally features Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto. Donald’s Dining Safari at Tusker House Restaurant inside Disney's Animal Kingdom Park is another great option for your daughter and son. Please know that Character appearances are subject to change. Guests may begin booking Advanced Dining Reservations for Character Dining 180 days in advance by calling Disney Dining at (407)WDW-DINE or (407)939-3463, via My Disney Experience or by going online.

I hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions as your vacation approaches. Best wishes for a magical trip, Stacey!

    Bon Appétit,
