I'm planning our first trip to Disney World with our 14 month old for Sept 23-26 this year. How are the crowds at Magic Kingdom that time of year? Any tips to taking a toddler for the first time? Thank you!

    Hi Emily!

September is a wonderful time of year to visit Walt Disney World!

The crowds are low, the values are great and the weather is beautiful!

We have visited Walt Disney World during that time of year many years in a row and we find that crowds are light. You can walk onto most attractions with minimal wait times.

This is especially great when you are taking a toddler for thier first visit. For your little one, make sure to pick up a "My First Visit" button when you arrive. It is complimentary and it's a great way to celebrate a first trip.

For toddlers, you'll also want to make sure you plan a break in the middle of the day, even considering going back to your room for your little one to take a nap. This will ensure everyone has energy for the evening attractions, such as fireworks. You'll also want to plan to visit the attractions that toddlers love the most, such as Winnie the Pooh, It's a Small World and Dumbo.

    Magically,
    Stacy
