i'm planning my family's 1st trip to WDW in Sept 2012. If i book now, and a free dining plan is ofered at a later date, can that be added? If not what do you suggest, book now when i can get the resort i want, or roll the dice for possible free dining?

    Hi Jerre!

Yes! Walt Disney World is very willing to apply a newly announced promotion or discount to an existing reservation.

If you see a discount announced that you'd like to take advantage of, contact Disney at 407-W-DISNEY (or your travel agent) and ask that it be applied to your reservation. If the resort and room category you've booked is available, you'll be able to apply the discount. Most times, if it is not available for your specific resort selection, you can ask about changing to a different room or resort category. Usually this can be done without any cost to you (and sometimes there can be a small charge that is usually off set by the amount of the discount).

Hope you can snag a great deal!
