Hi Mykeria,
Welcome to planDisney! It makes me happy to know that you are planning well in advance!
While there is not necessarily a brochure we can send, you can price a
vacation package for your dates in 2025. Although rates may change by the time you book for 2026, it will give you an idea of how to start saving. I suggest you price out a few different
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. And compare the cost of a vacation package with and without a
Disney Dining Plan.
As you consider resort hotels, make sure you take a look at the difference in amenities between deluxe, moderate, and value resorts. In the deluxe category, we love Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa because they are within walking distance to Magic Kingdom. We also love Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and it has access to
Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation as do the Contemporary and the Grand Floridian.
My family prefers deluxe and deluxe villa resort because they have multiple dining options and often have multiple transportation options to the theme parks. In contrast, value resorts like Disney's All-Star Movies, All-Star Sports, and All-Star Music Resorts are typically more budget-friendly with fewer dining and transportation options. Disney's Art of Animation and Disney's Pop Century Resorts are also value resorts but, in addition to having access to
Walt Disney World® Bus Service, they have have access to the
Disney Skyliner. The Skyliner connects you to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios and a few other resort hotels.
Your question brings back so many memories of our first trips with our girls. When they were younger, we would set up a savings jar for them as well and they would put their change in it. Just prior to the trip, we would count out the change they had saved and we would let them use it to buy something in the parks. As you continue to plan, remember to also check the
Special Offers. Check to see if one opens up for the March dates in 2025. And then, just make note of the vacation package price with and without a special offer.
Mykeria, my family lives by a spreadsheet or chart. We make note of all of our plans, days we plan to visit the parks, advanced dining reservations,
Enchanting Extras Collection reservations. You should also be able to track your plans in your
My Disney Experience account as you make them. So, if you do not have a My Disney Experience account already, be sure to create one as it gets closer to your travel dates.
In the meantime, review the resort hotel options and start saving. Happy planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
