im planning a dysney vacation for december i need some help

Hello there, Salvador! Welcome to the wonderful world of planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

There is so much to consider when planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, it can definitively be quite overwhelming! Fortunately, we’re here to help and provide you with the answers to any questions you may have!

Typically, whenever I begin planning my own family’s vacations, I first decide on how many days we would like to stay. Once we’ve figured this out, we’ve got a better idea of how many days of lodging we need and what our budget may look like. I then look over which resorts in the Disney Resort Collection have availability during the dates we would like to visit and choose which resort we would like to stay at. This decision is largely based on our budget and what type of vacation we intend on having. That helps us narrow down which amenities are “must-haves” and how close we would like to be to the four theme parks.

After we have all of this figured out, I will then decide how many days we would like to spend in the theme parks. This will tell you which type of theme park tickets you will need to purchase. If you are unsure of how many days you would like to spend in the theme parks, I would recommend looking over the list of attractions for each theme park and identifying your “must-dos” for each. If you find yourself struggling to narrow down your list, you may want to consider spending multiple days in that theme park!

Once you have purchased your theme park tickets, you will need to make theme park reservations via the Disney Park Pass system for each day you plan to spend in the parks. This can be done through your My Disney Experience account as soon as you have purchased your theme park tickets. If you would like to check availability prior to purchasing tickets, you may do so through the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online.

Hopefully, this information will give you a good direction to start in with planning your December vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know of any other questions we can answer for you as you continue your planning process!
