Hey there, hi there, He! Welcome, and thank you very much for your question.
Walt Disney World is a great place for human guests to visit, but as someone with two dogs, I know it can be an even more magical experience to come home at the end of the day and see your fluffy little guys waiting for you. Several of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels have been
designated as pet friendly, including
Disney's Art of Animation Resort,
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside,
Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. You can also have your furry friend at some of the campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness campground, but you have to specify in advance to be in a pet-friendly loop.
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort does not currently allow dogs.
While dogs are allowed at these specific resorts, there is also a strict policy that they may not be in theme parks, water parks, or any of the common areas, like restaurants, lounges, or by the pools. There also is no Disney Transportation provided to and from
Best Friends Pet Care, so you would have to arrange either a rideshare service or a private car to go back and forth to the Day Camp program.
Outdoor walkways and pet relief areas will be accessible from the designated pet-friendly rooms at each of the four resorts, so you'll still be able to take your dog out for a walk and some exercise while you are there.
I hope both you and your dog have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World, He!
Anna
