Im planning to get disneyland orlando. Im a non florida resident. My friend is a florida resident who is joining us. So can my friend book tickets under florida resident discount for me as well?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rosh! You’re going to have so much fun visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with your friend! Thanks for dropping by with your question.

I think it’s nice of your friend to offer to purchase a theme park ticket for you. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to use Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets meant for Florida Residents. That’s because anyone over the age of 18, using that type of ticket, must show Proof of Florida Residency to validate their ticket.

Your friend can absolutely book a Disney Resort hotel room, using a promotion only redeemable by Florida Residents and you would be able to stay with him. For a look at Special Offers available during your next magical visit, go to the official Disney web page.

Rosh, I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to plan your visit. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back to see us!
