I'm planning my Disney honeymoon! We would like to go 12/04/09-12/13/09. First, is this a good time of year to go (crowds, weather)? I've been looking into PO Riverside. Is this a nice honeymoon spot? Would u recommend Magnolia Bend or Alligator B. Lodges?

Hi Stephanie!  Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and honeymoon at WDW.  I was just at WDW on almost those exact dates in December. The weather was very nice, brisk a few mornings, but extremely comfortable during the day.  You just never know what you may get but I did find out that the average low in December is 53 and the high is 73.
Crowds are all together another issue.  The weekdays were not that bad during that time but it definitely got more crowded on the weekends with even the locals coming in to see the beautiful holiday decorations.  Still it was very manageable.
With regards to POR, I have stayed in Magnolia Bend and Alligator Bayou.  For a honeymoon, I would definitely recommend Magnolia Bend.  It just has this little charm about it, and I think it goes perfect with a honeymoon celebration.  It's quite and there are beautiful paths you can walk around the river that runs through the property.  I hope this helps you in your planning and once again congratulations.
