Welcome aboard, Ashley! When my family and I set sail from any of
Disney Cruise Line's home ports, we always stay at the resorts that partner with Disney because they make it super easy to transition from land to sea and back again.
Disney currently partners with two resorts in the Miami area, with one more partner beginning late next year. The Conrad Miami, Marriott Stanton South Beach, and next year, the Four Seasons Miami (starting in late November of 2018) all work with Disney Cruise Line to give guests a fabulous place to stay the night before they set sail. Guests can book the resort and the ground transfers through Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532. You'll fly in and be met at the airport by a Disney representative who will assist you in getting to the motorcoach to take you to your resort. Once you arrive, you'll be given instructions on when to have luggage ready to send ahead to the ship straight from the resort the next morning, and what time you'll be taken to the port. If you'd like transportation back to the airport after your cruise, this can be arranged through Disney as well. While the transfers do carry an additional cost, I promise it's the best way to begin and end your cruise!
When you use Disney's
ground transfers and stay at their partner resorts, they take care of all of the details so you can simply show up and begin your vacation! We've enjoyed each of our stays at their partner resorts and had super easy transitions to the port, so I'm sure you will too!
Have fun planning, Ashley, and please stop back with any other questions about your cruise. We're happy to help!
