I'm planning my daughter's 3rd birthday that's on July 31st & I wanted to celebrate it at Disney but also reserve hotel rooms for about 5 people, for at lease 3days . I don't know where I would even start.. Please help:(

Hello, Daniela! Your little princess is going to have a wonderful birthday celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort this summer! Choosing the right Disney Resort hotel to accommodate your family's needs is perhaps the most difficult part of the vacation-planning process, especially because there are so many wonderful options.

My first bit of advice would be to decide on your exact travel dates as soon as you are able. This will help you to search for available rooms at the various Disney Resort hotels during your travel dates. Once you have decided on dates, you will also need to decide who will be traveling with you. Depending on the ages and sleeping arrangements of the people in your travel party, you may need to find a Disney Resort hotel that offers a specific type of accommodations to suit your family's needs. For example, some hotels offer family suites with separate bedrooms, while others may have a daybed or pull-out bed.

The next step would be to do a quick search on the Walt Disney World Resort website to see what hotels are available. You should have many options, and you can even sort your results (on the top right corner) to show these sorting options: Disney's Picks, Price Low to High, Name, or Location. All of these functions are useful, but I tend to sort my results based on location or price.

You can then select up to four of your top Disney Resort hotel choices to compare in Disney's super handy comparison tool. This will allow you to quickly compare the hotels based on a number of criteria, from Maximum Room Occupancy, Transportation Options, Dining Options, and more. This tool really is quite helpful.

I know this is a lot of information to consider, so if you have any additional questions about your upcoming vacation, please feel free to stop back by the Moms Panel. I hope you have a magical vacation, Daniela!
