Hello! I’m planning a cruise in January leaving from port Canaveral. I’m trying to figure out ground transportation and hotel stays. What hotels does Disney pick up from? Would the Disney Springs Drury location be a pickup spot? Thank you!!

See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me! And it sounds like it’s calling you, too, Jennifer. Answering the call with a cruise on Disney Cruise Line is a dream come true, and I’m sure you will have a magical sailing in January. Let’s see just how far you’ll go by putting together information about Disney Ground Transportation

You have a few options when it comes to hotel stays and transportation to the Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal. You can choose to have Ground Transportation pick you up directly from Orlando International Airport and take you to Port Canaveral. You can book one of the Pre- and Post-Cruise Hotels: the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport, located at the Orlando International Airport, or the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront Hotel, located 5.5 miles from Port Canaveral. You can book a stay at one of these hotels before or after your cruise when booking your Disney Cruise, or add them after by calling (800) 951-3532

Another option is to book a Land and Sea Vacation, which includes a Disney Resort hotel stay before or after your Disney cruise. You can choose from the incredible Disney Resorts Collection and arrange transfers between Walt Disney World Resort, Port Canaveral, and Orlando International Airport. You can find a complete list of the participating Disney Resort hotels on the Disney Vacations by Land and Sea page. Unfortunately, Disney Cruise Line transportation is not available from the Drury hotel, but you could book a third-party option like Mears Transport or Sunshine Flyer if you are staying at this hotel before or after your cruise.

May the wind in your sail on the sea stay behind you, Jennifer! And you find smooth sailing as you make your way to and from the Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal. Have a wonderful cruise and come back here to planDisney if you have more questions.

    Happy Sailing!
