Hi, I'm planning to buy tickets for Disney in California I live not too far but maybe is a good idea to stay in the hotel there. So want to know if there is any special for hotel + tickets, we are 4 adults, 1 toodler (2) and a baby (10mo) thank you

Hi there, Fiorella, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for submitting your question to us. How wonderful to hear that you're planning a Disneyland Resort vacation! I grew up in California so the Disneyland Resort has always been within a day's drive away. Whenever I visit with my family, we always try to stay at one of the official Hotels if possible. It feels like you never left the Magic and you can't go wrong with any of them.

Have you considered a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package? These can be purchased online and will package your hotel stay and Theme Park Tickets into one easy transaction. Plus, there are some magical extras included when you book a package! The good news is that your children under 3 years of age will not need their own ticket to the Theme Parks. If you're interested in speaking to a Cast Member about a Vacation Package, I'm sure they would be happy to clarify and answer any questions you might have.

For any specials, I always like to study the Offers and Discounts page to see if anything would apply. Disney often runs a special for hotel stays from Sunday to Thursday nights if your visit dates are flexible.

My favorite of the Disneyland Resort Hotels has always been the classic Disneyland Hotel itself. This property opened in 1955 soon after Disneyland Park first began welcoming Guests and has been updated to keep up with modern amenities. However, it still honors its heritage and focuses on the Resort's history, which I particularly love. Plus, their Pool and Monorail Waterslides would be a really fun area for your kids.

Fiorella, good luck on your decision and I wish you the best as you plan your trip to The Happiest Place on Earth! Please return anytime you have more questions. You're always welcome at planDisney and we'd love to hear from you again! Until next time!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
