I'm planning on booking the fork and screen as soon as the showings for the monsters university comes out. I just want to make sure that the fork and screen is just like the pics I have seen in the lil car. I don't want to book it and end up at a table

Hi, Amber!  The Fork and Screen is different from what I think you are thinking about.  Fork and Screen is a movie and a meal at the AMC theater in Downtown Disney.  When you purchase your tickets, you will then go to a regular movie theater that has been outfitted with tables and comfortable chairs.  You order your meal, and it's brought right to you at the table.  The movies that are playing vary, but there are usually at least a couple of different ones to choose from.

I think you are referring to the Sci Fi Dine In, a table service restaurant at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Most of the seating here is in replicas of convertibles from back in the day.  You feel like you're in a drive in movie theater, but the screen plays only a loop of old movie trailers and an ad here and there for the concession stand.  You won't be able to see Monsters University here, as they don't show regular movies.

I hope I've cleared up the confusion.  Fork and Screen is still an awesome experience, as is the Sci Fi, but they are definitely two different things.
