Hi there, Kristie!
Like you, I cannot wait for my Walt Disney World Resort vacation to begin, so I always opt for the earliest flight. That way, I’m able to spend more time at the theme parks!
Kristie, I totally understand you bringing along your hair straightener. My hair does not do well in the Florida humidity, and I absolutely rely on hair tools for help!
I
reached out to a couple of Cast Members to check with them and was told that although hair straighteners are not listed specifically under the
list of Prohibited Items, it would be entirely up to the discretion of security. The Cast Members I spoke to advised your best bet would be to leave the hair straightener at your hotel, as we would hate to see you get there and be unable to enter due to the hot tool.
If you’re staying at a
Disney Resort hotel, even if your room isn’t ready,
Bell Services are happy to hold your things until you’re back in your room. I know this adds a bit of time before you can arrive at Disney’s Hollywood Studios; however, I’ve noticed as soon as I arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, all my stresses start to melt away, and I hope that’s the case for you, too.
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Kristie!
Aena
