Hello! Im planing to celebrate new year at DCL in the dream ship on december 28, I have a 7 months old baby and when im serching the web it says that some cruise have age restriction. Can we book?

    Hi Maria,

Welcome back to Disney Cruise Line and thank you for asking us another great question, this time about your Disney Cruise Line vacation!

One of the big items on my vacation “Bucket List” is definitely to ring in the New Year on a Disney cruise. I really hope you’ll be able to make your family’s Disney Dreams come true aboard the Disney Dream this December!

The answer to your question depends on the type of sailing that you’ll be on. Generally speaking, the minimum age to sail aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship is 6 months as of the day you board the ship. Based on when you’ll be cruising, I don’t think that this applies to you but, just in case, for Transatlantic, Panama Canal and Hawaii itineraries, your baby will need to be at least a year old.

If you do book this cruise, don’t forget that families travelling with little ones have a whole host of amenities and onboard services available to them, including the “it’s a small world” nursery! and other activities just for them.

If you have any other questions about cruising with your baby, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us. I cruised with my little guy when he was barely a year old, and I know lots of my fellow panellists have also cruised with babies - we’re always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
