Welcome to
planDisney, Gilberto! Let me start by saying a gigantic THANK YOU for your service to our country! As a military spouse and veteran, I know how much you sacrifice for our country, and I am truly grateful. It would be my pleasure to help answer your question about the
phased reopening of Disneyland Resort.
Upon the reopening of
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park, theme park capacity will be significantly limited to comply with governmental requirements and promote physical distancing. Park attendance is being managed through a new
theme park reservation system that will require all Guests to obtain a park reservation for park entry in advance. At this time, only California residents may visit the parks, and proof of residency may be required. Since you are military service on active duty, you are still a California resident. As long as your permanent California resident address is the address listed on your Disney account, you can purchase theme park tickets and make theme park reservations. You may need to provide further proof of California residence before entering the parks, so please be sure you bring documentation showing that you are a California resident. Your California driver’s license should suffice.
I hope this information helps get you started on your way to returning to the magic of
Disneyland Resort. Please remember that you’ve got a friend in us here at
planDisney, so stop back by if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
