Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your excellent question, Ashley! I remember those days of being a new, nursing mother and feeling flustered in public as I looked for a place to quietly feed my baby or pump. Often, I ended up retreating to the back row of my minivan so that I could find some privacy. Luckily, while you are at any of the Disney theme parks, you won't have to worry about that. I toured two of the
Baby Care Centers when I was at Walt Disney World a couple of weeks ago, and these places are a hidden gem!
What a treat that grandma and grandpa are happy to help so you can enjoy your day in Epcot! After riding Test Track and Soarin' to your heart's content, you'll find Epcot's Baby Care Center located in the Odyssey Center between Future World and the World Showcase (in between Test Track and the Mexico Pavilion). The nursing rooms in Epcot have several rocking chairs and can accommodate up to four mothers at one time. Electrical outlets are also available in the room for mothers who need to use a breast pump. Unfortunately, you'll be unable to store your pump or milk in the Baby Care Center; however, talk to the Cast Members at the First Aid Center and they should be able to hold it for you for the day (First Aid is located next door to the Baby Care Centers in all four Parks). Even when your children are older, the Baby Care Centers are great places to go if you need to purchase over the counter medication or if you run out of sunscreen- you'd be surprised how many adult Guests stop in!
Enjoy your day at Epcot, Ashley! If you get a chance, follow your nose over to
Karamell-Küche in the Germany Pavillion. The Salted Caramel Fudge Brownie is heavenly!
