If I’m not staying at a Walt Disney resort, can I still link a credit card to my Disney band?

    Heigh-Ho Jenny,

Planning a Walt Disney World vacation is an exciting time but along with it comes some curiouser and curiouser inquiries. You have come to the right place, we at planDisney are a panel of Guests with a wealth of Disney knowledge and Walt Disney World travel experience. How many times have we visited Walt Disney World amongst us? Well, Buzz Lightyear said it best, “To Infinity and Beyond!”

Currently, ONLY Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort are able to have charging privileges on their Disney MagicBands. While it would be quite convenient for everyone to be able to incur charges, on their Disney MagicBands, consider utilizing your Apple Pay feature on your Apple devices for a contactless and tap and go option. Most card readers, around the Walt Disney World Resort, are compatible for this payment feature.

Check out our Instagram (@planDisneypanel) and Panel Extras for more Vacation Planning Tips and I hope your visit is filled with many Magical and Memorable Moments.

    Have a Magical Day,

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
