I'm not lodging at Disneyland, but I have a 9am breakfast reservation at GCH Craftsman Bar. Is my best bet for handicapped parking the Simba lot at Downtown Disney, or is there a better option?

Hey there, hi there, Mary! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you've stopped by with your question.

One of the many things I love about Disneyland Resort Hotels is that you do not have to be a Guest of the hotel to enjoy dining at their quick or table service locations. GCH Craftsman Bar happens to be one of my favorite Disneyland Hotel dining options! I do think that the Simba Lot would be your cheapest option for handicapped parking at Disneyland Resort, as the Grand Californian does not validate parking for GCH Craftsman Bar. If you are planning on visiting the parks that day, I think it would be easier to just park at Mickey & Friends Parking Structure in a handicapped spot and take the tram to Downtown Disney District.

After your breakfast, I recommend checking out the newly opened Wonderful World of Sweets in the Downtown Disney District. Here you will find all sorts of delicious concotions, including bakery items you can find in the parks, as well as some options exclusive to the shop. You will also find my favorite, Werther's Original Caramel Popcorn. This is made fresh right there in the shop!

Mary, I hope this information is helpful, and you have a wonderful breakfast!
