Hiya pal! Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question about
parking at the Grand Californian! Your visit is coming up soon so let's get to it!
I've got some great news! If your reservation is at
Napa Rose, you'll receive 5 hours of complimentary parking, or if you'll be dining at
Storytellers Cafe, you'll receive 3 hours of complimentary parking. Both require restaurant validation.
I confirmed with a friendly Cast Member at the
Grand Californian that if you would like to arrive prior to your dining reservation, to explore the gorgeous property or sit back and relax by the fireplace in the grand lobby, you are welcome to do that! Your complimentary validation time will apply.
If you end up needing more time, in addition to the complimentary parking validation, the self-parking fees at
Disneyland Resort hotels are, at this time, $40 per standard vehicle for the first hour plus $10 for each additional hour. The maximum daily rate is currently $80. You will pay for your parking time as you exit the lot.
Another option, if you think you'll want to head into the theme parks that day, is to park at Mickey & Friends Parking Structure. At this time, one standard-sized vehicle is $35 for the full day, and you can
purchase a voucher in advance. Mickey & Friends Parking Structure might also be the more cost-effective option, if you're wanting to park for longer than the complimentary parking limit.
Be aware that parking is subject to availability (a pre-paid voucher for Mickey & Friends doesn't guarantee a spot) and prices are subject to change without notice.
I also have to mention, while you're in the area, take a peek at the Grand Californian Great Hall Cart in the hotel lobby for a little grab-and-go treat. There are always super cute seasonal goodies found here! Perfect for a gift or a "treat yourself" moment later.
Have a magical visit to the Grand Californian! And don't hesitate to
stop by with another question anytime! We're here to help!
Your pal,
McCayla
