Ahoy there, Vance!
I'm so excited to welcome you back aboard planDisney! It's always such a treat to reconnect with returning Guests, and having you sail back to us feels like seeing a familiar face on deck. We appreciate being part of your planning journey, and love to help you chart the course for another unforgettable Disney Cruise Line adventure.
I actually wear hearing aids myself, so I totally get how important it is to know what kind of technology and support you'll have once you're onboard. While Disney Cruise Line doesn't currently offer telecoil technology, they do offer
lots of great services to make your cruise more comfortable. These include things like captioned TV and movies, assistive listening devices, room communication kits, stateroom TTYs, and even shared ASL interpretation on U.S.-based and some European sailings. To make sure everything is set up for you, I recommend submitting the
Special Services Information Form at least 30 days before your U.S. Cruise or 120 days before select European cruises. That way, the crew can have everything ready to go before you even set sail!
I just wanted to give you a quick reminder to be sure your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app is downloaded and up to date before you set sail. Since this will be your ninth cruise (!!!), I'm sure you already know how invaluable this little tool is once you're onboard. It really does make it easy to keep track of everything happening around the ship.
Vance, I hope this helps as you get ready for your upcoming adventure, and I'm wishing you the most magical cruise at sea! If any other questions pop up while you're planning, don't hesitate to sail back our way here at planDisney. We're always happy to help!
SEAS the day,
Kami
