Hi Christiena!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I'm glad to see that you are working on the plans for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation and
My Disney Experience will help ensure your plans are all organized! Be sure to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app because it's a great option for managing your trip plans while you are enjoying your vacation!
It sounds like you have purchased three theme park tickets for friends and family you are traveling with and you want to make sure that each Guest has access to their ticket with their MagicBand. Here are the steps you will need to follow:
- First, you need to make sure that everyone in your group is listed in your Friends and Family List. If you will be managing their account, then you can click the "Add Guest" button to create an account under your account, otherwise, if they have their own My Disney Experience account, then you will need to link your account to their account. If you need help linking your accounts, my fellow panelist Ana Paula has some awesome instructions!
- Next, you will need to ensure that everyone's MagicBands are linked to their My Disney Experience account, by visiting the My MagicBands and Cards page. If you manage everyone's accounts, then you can verify that everyone's MagicBands are linked. Otherwise, each person will need to verify their own MagicBands are correctly linked to their account. If anyone needs to link their MagicBand, they can do that using the Walt Disney World Resort Claims page.
- Finally, from the Tickets & Memory Maker section of your My Disney Experience account, you can assign any of the theme park tickets linked to your account to a member of your Friends & Family list by clicking the "Reassign Ticket" button located to the right of the ticket. Keep in mind that you can't reassign a ticket once it's been used, so be sure to link your tickets in advance of your vacation.
Once tickets have been reassigned to each member of your party, they will be able to access their tickets using the MagicBands linked to their My Disney Experience account!
Christiena, don't forget that each Guest will need both a theme park ticket and a
theme park reservation for each day you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. Since reservations are limited, I recommend that you make your theme park reservations as soon as possible once everyone has a ticket linked so you can enjoy the perfect itinerary during your trip!
Let us know if you have additional questions about reassigning your ticket or if we can help you again as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
